Chocolate. Belgium waffles. This was going through our heads as we were on our way to Brussels. And as if on cue the moment we stepped off the train the overwhelming smell of cooking waffles hit us. Not even kidding. As if it were piped in as part of some tourism board's bigger plan. But it was for reals. As we walked into the main station, behold - waffle stands! We decided to wait though until we dumped our bags and went into the city. Then we got waffles (with melted chocolate… and whipped cream), frites in a cone, and chocolate. In that order. Ahhhh……

I still have dreams of this.
Again, architecture obsessed…. at the Grand Place (or the Grote Markt.)
Oh look, our shoes again!
This was next door to where we stayed. It's the factory, not a store! Very appropriate.
The Manneken Pis (or, rather, pissing boy!) statue. We walked around for over 30 minutes in the falling snow trying to find this thing (don't ask), and when we finally did we discovered it was about a foot tall, maybe!
He actually looked like a chunk of chocolate…. which, well…. gifts for home!
Haha, happened the same to me with the Manneken Pis the 2 times I have been there, LOL!
